Journey to Jaburo looked to be a really great game at first glance, and, in some ways it is, but I can definatly say, while it's good, I expected better. First off, the good parts, it has great graphics, nice and smooth, the MS look like the real thing, almost, they look slightly cartoony, but being as the game was based on an anime, thats fine. Other things such as the ships are very well done too, the landscapes are a bit flat, and if you were expecting a bit of jumping, forget it, theres a few ups and downs, but 90% of every level is flat. The controls are a bit tricky, but very easy to learn and with a little practice, very easy to master, the biggest drawback here is that you cant use the control sticks, but if your fine with that then there's not other real complaints. My biggest complaint with this game was that it lacked substance, there are only 9 levels, yes, just nine. The entire Gundam story is covered in these 9 levels. This is a real bummer cause you miss out on alot of the story, they just hit on the good points, which is fine if you dont care for the story, but you really lose out on the plot. There are however some extra levels, they are the same 3 levels for both the Zeon and the Feddies, but you can play them with a great many MS, for the Feddy missions, you can use: The Gundam, Guntank, Guncannon, GM, GM Sniper Custom, the Gundam Ground-type, The Alex(the G-4) and The GM Blue Destiny unit 1. For the Zeon you can use the Zaku I, Zaku II, Zaku II Char Custom, Zaku II Garma Custom, Gogg, ACGuy, Gouf, Dom, Kempfer, and a few others. This adds alot of good replay value to the game, but after a while it gets a little boring because you beceome so good your unbeatable. So, it's got a limit, so overall, it was good, but not a great game.
