Zeonic Front is a very nice game, and rather different from the other Gundam games released so far. As you may have guessed, in Zeonic Front you battle as the Prinicipality of Zeon on their mission to destroy all EFF presence from the Earth. The game is actually a team based strategy game like Rainbow Six. You and 2 other MS, along with the occasional other team or two, are sent on the mission to, acheive whatever the mission is. There are 49 missoins in this game, and by all means they get hard, very very hard. Also there are different diffulcty settings, and as you beat the game, you can replay it harder and harder and harder. There are quite a number of suits to choose from, one of the best points of this is that you have to progress further through the game to get them, you cant just start with any Zeon suit you want. The game also has a training, and it also contains the enteri game in here in a sort of replay, vurses kind of thing, which is really nice. Also in these extra missions, once you earn hihgh Newtype ranks on them, you unlock more and towards the end you unlock some missions where you can play as some EFF MS, but if you really want to do that, I suggest using gameshark codes, because there are some nice suits you can never play as. The biggets downsides to this game are the limited things you can do, you cant wander off if your bored, you have to get hte mission done. Also the graphics are a big square, though the MS movments are very nicely done, on most of the MS, on some it looks a bit funky though, Biggest downside, it sticks to the One Year War plotline in that the Zeon lose, I really wish you could "rewrite history" in this game, it would make it much more fun. Overall this is a awesome game, not a perfect ten, but definately a 9+. And a reccomended buy for any gundam fan with a PS2.
