Inu Yasha
So far this has been a really good series, it does get a little tedious in the fact that so far all it's been is "monster has jewel, must kill monster"  anyway, thats the bad part, now for the good.  Compared to what Cartoon Network has had on latley, Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, this is a bit of a change of pace, maybe thats why I like it.  Anyway, I'v already told you the plot in it's most simplified version, now for what really goes on.

In the beginning of the show Kagome fell down an old well inside her grandfathers shrine, there she meets Mistress Centipede, who is literally half human and half centipede, but all demon.  After useing some magical powers she didnt know she had, and has only since used twice in the series, she escaped from the Mistress Centipede and proceded to exit the well, only not where she expected.  Now Kagome is in the "Warring States" era of feudal Japan.  He she meets the 1/2 demon Inu Yasha, who is nailed to a tree with a magic arrow.  Poor Inu Yasha...Anyway, after freeing him to help destroy Mistress Centipede, he trys to take the Shikon Jewel from her, which I should add, is what Mistress Centipede wanted in the first place.

The Shikon Jewel is like steroids for your innermost desires, unfortunately later on Kagome hits it with an arrow on accident and shatteres it into hundreds of peices.  Oh yes, I should ads that Keyede(sp) put a necklace around Inuyasha that, on Kagome's command of "Sit" slams Inu Yasha's face into the ground.  Ouch, thats gotta hurt.  So now Inu Yasha is stuck with Kagome, and protects her, why?  Well, we see flashbacks here and there that show that Kikyo(sp), whom Kagome is the reincarnation of, and Inu Yasha were in love, and then something happened that made them want to kill each other.  I wont tell you what happened, go watch the show.
